New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani will attend the Archdiocese of New York’s 25th anniversary Mass for the victims of 9/11 at the invitation of Archbishop Ronald Hicks, despite Mamdani's support for abortion, gender reassignment, and homosexual marriage. Archbishop Hicks, appointed by Pope Leo XIV, will concelebrate the Mass with Bishop Robert Brennan and host an invitation-only congregation including 9/11 victims’ families, NYPD members, and city officials.
