New York City and New York state are providing $495,000 in new funding to expand the NYC Abortion Access Hub's referral network, allowing it to connect callers with more abortion providers and support services beyond the five boroughs. This expansion, announced by Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Governor Kathy Hochul on the fourth anniversary of the Dobbs decision, aims to improve access to abortion care, including medication abortion, transportation, lodging, and financial assistance for New Yorkers and callers from outside the state.
